I think mother nature is upset with me for

showing off her bloomers in last weeks newsletter!

That must be the reason we got snow and sleet this morning!

But since it was so yucky out on Sunday we got some

great new items for inside the shop!

You can't be upset with the weather if you have a great table to eat at!

Or a wonderful cabinet to decorate!Wouldn't this buffet be perfect as a changing table in a baby's room?

That top drawer could hold all manner of baby items!

But the thing we are most excited about is this upcoming weekend,

we are participating in the

Wake Forest Woman's Club

Antique Show and Sale on April 1st, 2nd and 3rd!

Friday, April 1 • 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday, April 2 • 10 a.m to 5 p.m.

Sunday, April 3 • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets for Friday nights event are advanced sales only,

but can be picked up at The Cotton Company in Wake Forest

or you can contact

or Saturday and Sunday you can purchase tickets at the door for $5.00!

Now, while it may be hard to see from this picture, Spring is in Full Bloomers at SuzAnna's Antiques! Both inside and outside all new items are springing up! These amazing headbands made with vintage millinery flowers and these huge, beautiful metal flowers are just a

few examples of what's new in the shop! These numbered eggs would look so wonderful in a glass jar on your counter!

Or gracing the top of this dresser in your bedroom or entryway! Maybe decorating outside is more your thoughts for this weekend? These shutters are just waiting to be used in new and unusual ways! Garden edging or growing some flowers up that lattice work would be fun! Maybe creating a screen so you and your honey can smooch in the backyard like this cement Dutch lady and gentleman?

Well, actually it is afternoon now isn't it?Wouldn't it be lovely to be sitting outside on one

of these beautiful new sets of outdoor furniture we just got in?Especially this weekend when it's going to be 80 degrees out?Last weekend was just as wonderful!Especially at SuzAnna's Antiques!We had our "Blast from the Past Vintage Prom Fashion"

show on Saturday Night!Everyone got in on the action, from our employees to our customers!Even our announcer was snazzy!

But I might be biased since I call him Daddy!The girls were lovely, the fashions were amazing, and we had everything from prom fashions to what the chaperons might wear!

But in case you did miss it, don't worry,

we had so much fun we will be having another one in the summer!
