Suzanna's Antiques Newsletter

Hi Ya’ll! Happy Second Day of Fall! This weekend will be a wonderful weekend to head to the shop! We have gotten in some new pieces, moved some others around…lots of stuff to see! Including the new sign for our shopping center! Let us introduce “The Vintage Village at Neuse Crossings” consisting of Suzanna’s Antiques, Sam’s Country Porch Antiques, The Little Shabby Shed, and now opened “The Shack by the Track”! The Shack will be opened this weekend but the weekend of October 3rd is the official Grand Opening Party! Please keep October 3rd open for ice cream, hot dogs and SHOPPING!!

With all the fall cleaning up and decorating going on, we have been missing the call of the birds starting to fly south for the winter! So we pulled out the bird cages! What better decorating item than a beautiful bird cage? Suzanna’s Antiques has “flocks” of cages around to use. Beautiful hanging cages, table top cages, cages on stands. Use a beautiful metal one on a table with candles in it. Or make a fun display on a side table with pictures and cards. The decorating ideas are unlimited. A birdcage can be made into a light (thank you Internet)

or use one on your table as a centerpiece, even on your desk for organization. (Thank you Margo)

I used to have birds in a cage when I was a kid ----- now I have cages with plants and birds on my garden feeders. What a topsy-turvy world. Some great ideas here.

Looking forward to the party 10/3 - what time please Jenny?
