Hi everybody! Happy First Day of SPRING! After all that rain last weekend we should see some beautiful spring flowers all over the place very soon! Are you ready to get your gardens in gear? Need a hand with decorating those gardens?? Suzanna’s Antiques is the place for you! We have some beautiful patio sets, separate funky outdoor chairs, trellis’, antique iron gates, fun potting tables and some beautiful planters all waiting to grace your yard! If you need a little inspiration, how about spending the day with us in Oxford on Saturday? Suzanna’s Antiques will be a featured vendor at the “Remember When” Antique and Garden Show this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Let us put you in the mood for garden decorating! Actually, we have your whole weekend planned out for you!! On Friday start at Bella House, a fun spot mom found last week on a buying trip! They are in Burlington and are having an open house sidewalk sale this Friday and Saturday! See their website for more information! Then start Saturday morning at the Wakefield High School Yard sale! They are raising money for the band for concert trips and uniforms and whatnot!! The sale starts at 8 am but for a $5.00 donation you can get in at 7:30 and get first dibs on all the goodies!! Check out the sale blog here! Our very own Miss Anna is in charge!! Next, head to Oxford to see up to twenty vendors (including Suzanna’s Antiques) at the “Remember When” Antique and Garden Show! We will have lots of great garden themed ideas and creations for you to use in your yard! Like the cute wooden Dutch shoes painted and planted for customers to enjoy. The sale is Friday, Saturday and Sunday! On your way stop at the new “Sprig” in Wake Forest! This is a fabulous new plants and garden décor shop owned by Lisa Snarski ! We love her! She is just like us! After visiting Oxford, head to Ornamentea for the Downtown Designers Market off of Peace Street! Tons of vendors with handmade jewelry, clothes and supplies, including Stacey Newton and Laura Orcutt, will be about, with all their vintage items for your crafting needs! Mom and I headed to Aberdeen this week and got some great new items for the shop! A beautiful white daisy hanging chandelier, a funky Indian inspired brass cutout hanging lamp, a beautiful white vanity and lots of new jewelry, benches and glass wear, all for your decorating wants and needs! If there is something you are specifically looking for, let us know!! We just located 25 windows for one client and have found chandeliers and dressers and china for others!! What is on your wish list? Suzanna’s tip of the week: Need a plant marker? Use an old fork! The prongs will hold your seed packet! For Sale Friday the 13th!

The leprechauns have invaded For Sale Friday!

They seem to be turning everything green!

This beautiful chair!

This depression ware dessert set!

Even this lamp! They were playing leap frog with these jars, so they missed a few!

And we caught one before he could turn all these shoe horns green!

One was dancing with this little lady!While the others were in the yard!

We think they live here most of the time!

So come have a seat and see if you can see any leprechauns this weekend!

There was a glitch and some did not get sent!

Hi Ya’ll!! Friday the 13th and back to the cold weather!! Talk about bad luck!! Come warm up in the pleasant atmosphere of Suzanna’s Antiques and find a little luck of your own! Or if you happen to be an ACC Basketball Tournament Widow this weekend…head on over!! We’ll help you have some girl time away from the BIG GAME! Lots of new items have come into the shop this week! Shawna, of Oxford Green Landscaping has brought us some beautiful new things to her outdoor booth! New garden art, gorgeous new cement pots and planters and even some cute new birdhouses all adorn her corner of the yard. She even managed to move her fountain closer to the building so now the sound of sprinkling water can be heard through out the dealer’s wing! Linda has some great painted signs in her booth and out in the yard and we can even provide a customized sign at your request! Tracy has a cute pink table that would go perfectly in a daughter’s bedroom, and Nancy brought a desk that would be handsome in any young mans room! Along with some great new hanging lights, we have every room in your home covered! Next weekend, Suzanna’s Antiques will be set up in Oxford at “Remember When”! It’s going to be a whole garden show, and the weather is going to be great! Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Next weeks newsletter will have more details, so plan with your friends to come to Oxford and see us!! There is supposed to be at least 20 vendors for you to shop with! The Designer’s Downtown Market at Ornamentea that was scheduled for this weekend has been postponed until March 21 due to the weather! But if you have chance to check it out, our very own Stacey Newton will be set up inside with all her vintage goodies for your artistic needs! Don’t forget we still have Suzanna’s Treasure Market spaces available for your weekend yard sales! Call and schedule your weekend now! Also, please remember us when cleaning out your attics, garages or workshops! Don’t take it to the dump, call Suzanna’s first and we can discuss what you have!! We love collecting old wood, hinges, drawer pulls, tools and hardware for the shop! The ultimate recycling! Now that the snow has melted and spring is starting to show her party colors, the animals have started coming back out at Suzanna's to play!The Ducks are dancing with the chickens!The Roosters are doing the rumba!

The sheep are doing the shimmy!

The turtles are tapping their toes.
